According to details, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has drafted legislation related to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
The draft of Hajj and Umrah Act 2020 has been sent to the Ministry of Law and Justice for approval.

Legislation will be enacted to alleviate the plight of Umrah pilgrims and improve facilities, travel, insurance, accommodation and food for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and provide them protection there. Similarly, in the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Religious Affairs, Ministry officials have informed the committee that the funds received along with the Hajj applications have been returned to the Telecom Authority regarding the removal of anti-Hindu propaganda material on social media. He also warned that a strategy is being worked out to address the problems of the pilgrims by setting up offices of the Director Ministry of Religious Affairs in Taftan and Mashhad.
