ISLAMABAD (18-Aug-2020) Former President Asif Ali Zardari's difficulties have been further aggravated. NAB Rawalpindi has filed a supplementary reference in the Park Lane case. The reference includes the names of 19 accused including Asif Zardari. The court summoned former president Asif Ali Zardari, former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Abdul Ghani Majeed and Anwar Majeed on September 9 for indictment. Barrister Jahangir Jadoon, counsel for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, said that the decision to declare his client as a witness is a challenge in the High Court. From there, the proceedings should be stayed till the verdict is pronounced.
