Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani awarded with the biggest civil award "Nishan Pakistan".

 


ISLAMABAD (14-Aug-2020) The Government of Pakistan has conferred the country's largest civil award "Nishan-e-Pakistan" on Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani. The award ceremony was held at the President's House in Islamabad. Hurriyat leaders in Pakistan have received the award of Nishan-e-Pakistan to leader Syed Ali Gilani. Syed Ali Gilani is a powerful voice in the struggle against the 72-year-old Indian occupation of occupied Kashmir. The senior Kashmiri leader had split from the Mirwaiz group of the Hurriyat Conference in 2004 over talks with the Indian leadership. A separate party was formed under the name of Kashmir.
