Manchester (08-Aug-2020) Manchester Test, England's incredible come back, close to snatching victory from Pakistan, Jazz Butler and Chris wokes partnership of more than 100 runs, only 48 more runs needed to win. According to the details, Pakistan's grip on the match was strengthened on the fourth day of the Manchester Test, however, the England batsmen have managed to come back.

England are batting in pursuit of the 277-run target set by Pakistan. After England chased the target in a better way, the Pakistani bowler backed down in the match and in the chase of 277 runs, England lost 5 wickets for 117 runs. However, after that Jazz Butler and Chris wokes stuck to the wicket and both have formed a partnership of more than 100 runs.

Both batsmen have scored half-centuries. Jazz Butler and Chris wokes are playing an aggressive innings to bring the team closer to victory. England need 48 more runs to win with 5 wickets left. Earlier in the Manchester Test, Pakistan gave England a target of 277 runs to win. Pakistan, who took a 107-run lead by bowling out England for 219, faltered early in the second innings when they lost four wickets for a total of 63 in the first innings.

Shaun Masood, who played a classic innings of 156 in the first innings, was caught by Butler at zero in the second innings. The hero of the first innings was named Stuart Broad. After him, young opening batsman Abid Ali tried to play a cautious innings but lost his wicket for 20 runs in an attempt to play an aggressive stroke on a ball from the dome base. Babar Azam played 20 balls and scored only 5 runs and then caught Ben Stokes on the ball of wokes.

The fourth wicket fell to Azhar Ali who became LBW on wokes' hair. Asad Shafiq scored 29 runs and was run out, Mohammad Rizwan became LBW at the hands of Stokes for 27 runs. Similarly, Shadab Khan also scored 15 runs and became LBW at the hands of Broad. Shaheen Shah Afridi gave just two runs off 11 balls and caught Burns off Stokes. At the start of the fourth day, when Pakistan had only two wickets left, Yasir Shah played an aggressive innings and played a key role in giving England a strong target of 277 runs.
