Petition against appointment of 16 advisers to PM approved for hearing



 LAHORE (10-Aug-2020) The Lahore High Court (LHC) has approved a petition against the appointments of 16 advisers to the Prime Minister for hearing. According to media reports, the Lahore High Court (LHC) has accepted the petition against the appointment of 16 advisers to the Prime Minister. The court has issued notices to the federal government seeking a reply. The court also issued notices to the advisers to appear in person or submit a reply through a lawyer.

The court also directed the petitioner to amend the petition. On this occasion, Additional Attorney General Ishtiaq A Khan objected to the admissibility of the petition. The Federal Advocate said that overseas Pakistanis are rendering immense service to the country. On this, Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Qasim Khan said that it is a tragedy that a big man takes everything with him on his way out. The court said that government employees have been given special powers to control every matter. On which the federal counsel said that the Islamabad High Court has rejected a similar application.

I have to assist the court in accordance with the law. The Chief Justice said that if the government's case is not correct, then separate from the case. Earlier, a hearing was held in the Islamabad High Court against the appointment of advisers with dual citizenship. On which the court had rejected the application.
