The CAA reinstated 27 of the suspended pilots.

Islamabad (07-Aug-2020) 27 of the
suspended pilots were reinstated by the CAA. According to the details, the data
of the restored pilots was allegedly entered incorrectly, including their
birth, name, license number and other details. However, if the data is found to
be incorrect, the pilots have been reinstated, after which they have been
allowed to fly the aircraft and they have been cleared in all respects.
Earlier, Federal Minister for
Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan had said that after a forensic inquiry of one year
and four months, the degrees of 262 pilots were declared suspicious, 102 pilots
of different airlines were grounded and action has been taken against several
so far. Has taken action against 26 examiners who have taken their place, so
far 34 have been sent license suspension notices, are also investigating
against Pakistani pilots working in foreign airlines, UAE Airlines Of the 54
pilots, 48 have been cleared, 11 to 9 have been cleared by Vietnam Airlines,
2 out of 4 have been cleared by Bahrain Airlines, and Pakistani pilots working
in Malaysia and Turkish Airlines are being investigated.
On the other hand, the government
has allowed the opening of eight more airports in the country, including
Turbat, Panjgur, Dalbandin, Jhop, Pasni, Mohenjo-daro, Nawabshah and
Bahawalpur. Senior Joint Secretary Aviation Division and Spokesperson Abdul Sattar
Khokhar has officially announced that the government has given permission to
resume domestic flight operations, along with allowing the opening of eight
more airports in the country.
