Yasir Shah achieved a new milestone in his cricketing career and made history.


Old Trafford (8-Aug-2020) National team league sniper Yasir Shah did what neither Shane Warren nor Anil Kumble could do, Yasir Shah took four wickets in the first innings of the first Test against England. The 34-year-old league sniper broke the record of former Australian league sniper Clare Graeme who took 216 wickets in 37 Test matches. - Yasir Shah is also ahead of legendary Australian league sniper Shane Warren and former Indian sniper Anil Kumble, who have taken 187 and 168 wickets in the first 40 Tests of his career, respectively, behind Danish Kaneria and Mushtaq Ahmed. Former Australian League sniper Stuart McGill, who took 198 wickets in his first 40 Tests, is ranked third in the list with 169 and 164 wickets respectively in his first 40, 40 Test matches, India's BS Chandrasekhar said. Richie Benoit, the fifth and former Australian League sniper with 175 wickets, took 152 wickets.
